Trash
We are in a refuse district. The bill for trash is part of our taxes. The town of Brighton contracts with (so far) Waste Management to pick up our trash. They come (as of 2026) on Mondays, generally early. They collect the big green toters. They take trash every week, and recycle (yellow lid) every other week.

These trucks can't take other stuff. If you have extra "bulk trash", you must call the town for a special pickup with a different kind of truck.
